At Breathing Room Psychology we believe that mental health support should be affordable and accessible.
The standard fee for a 50- minute in person or Telehealth session is $195, and a reduced fee of $175 for full time students, seniors and health care concession card holders.
You do not need a referral to book an appointment, however if you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician you will be eligible for a rebate from Medicare of $96.65.
Please note that most GP’s like to spend more time with you to develop the Mental Health Care Plan so when making the appointment let the receptionist know so they can book you in for the right appointment timeframe.
If sessions are cancelled late (within 24 hours of the scheduled time) or do not attend on the day, half of the session fee is charged. We prefer to avoid this fee, so please remember to give us as much notice as possible.
